So another Blog starts

Please don't take the name of my blog to be representative of what I intend to put here. There is a long story behind how I chose to name my one and only blog with so lousy a thing, and this is the way it goes. Once upon a time, a not so little girl called Parul was going through a blog and wanted to post a comment to it. Now since BlogSpot wouldn't let her post it without registering herself (or maybe she was dumb enough to not be able to figure a way to do that), she registered. Then suddenly, when asked for a Blog name, she was totally clueless! Why would anybody want to have a blog and on top of that, name it too? Still, what has to be done, has to be done. Ok writing in third person is painful, let me switch to first. I was generally upbeat about life at the moment, the first idea that struck was "LiveStrong". That sums up the spirit and incidentally I am inspired by Lance Armstrong's life too. Even a dud would have known the name wouldn't be available! Ok how about "OneLife" (Everyone's got just one life to make the best of!). No, sorry. "TheOneLife" ? Not there either. What predictability, think different, girl! Different to pata nahi, I surely started thinking crappy. "HighOnLife". Thankfully, not available. Ok, why am I getting so frustrated if all the names I could think of are taken? "WhatsInaName"? No. "WhatzInaName" sounds desperate, but even that will do. But my luck has totally run out. Feels like suffering an "IdentityCrisis". Even that was taken!!! Can you imagine that? I was almost about to start looking for "LifeSucks" (not that it would have been available anyway!) but that would have been really really sad, especially considering the mood with which I started creating my blog in the first place. So restrained myself, and settled for this one. But the thing with names is that once you have chosen one, it sticks forever (well almost, I think I will be too lazy to go through this whole exercise again, ever).

Whatever else, at least this experience gave me something to put in my first post :-) At least my blog kicked off, I never intended to write otherwise. Hope it will live! Otherwise it at least serves the sadistic purpose of adding to the frustration of another user, who some day like me, would try to name his/her blog "Idontneednoname" :-)
